Butyruspermum Parkii Butter
Origin: Not EU (Ghana/Burkina Faso)

Effect / application: Shea butter is a very popular skin care product as it
protects the skin and prevents it from drying out. It supports the healing process
in the case of minor injuries and abrasions. Since shea butter is highly moisture-binding,
the skin becomes soft and tender. It also regulates the keratinization process of the skin,
so hard keratinized skin becomes softer, while the keratinization of thin skin is stimulated
and this becomes more resistant. Due to the positive effect on the collagenous tissue of
the dermis, shea butter is said to prevent skin aging and wrinkling.
Another brief explanation:
Shea butter raw: is natural and completely untreated, so all ingredients are spared,
but the nutty-smoky smell is not for everyone.
Deodorized shea butter: is refined so that it loses its smell. It hardly has any inherent odor,
which is an advantage for people who are sensitive to smells.
In the production of natural cosmetics, treated / refined shea butter is therefore often preferred.

But in the end everyone has to decide for themselves which one is more suitable for them.
Because tastes are known to be different!
