100% pure essential manuka oil organic (Leptospermum scoparium)
Origin: New Zealand, controlled organic cultivation
Production: steam distillation

Fresh, yet strongly herbal, earthy, and conveys a deep warmth.

Effect / application:
In Maori natural medicine, it plays a very important role in numerous secret rituals and legends. The Maoris particularly value its powerful antibacterial and antifungal effects, which are more pronounced than those of other tea tree oils such as Manuka and Tea Tree. Kanuka also has anti-rheumatic effects: It has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, and pain-relieving properties because it activates adrenal cortex activity and increases cortisol secretion. This oil also regulates mucus secretion; it strengthens the veins and relieves the lymphatic system, and, together with Niaouli, has a pain-relieving effect. Not to be forgotten is its effect on skin problems such as delayed wound healing, acne, poorly circulated skin, and weak connective tissue. Together with Manuka, it represents the Maori panacea. Kanuka is also a powerful psychic oil. It provides strength and vitality, inner warmth, strengthens not only physically but also mentally, and is therefore effective in difficult life situations. By demonstrably stimulating the production of noradrenaline and dopamine, it promotes mental and physical resilience, thus creating an optimistic mood and increased activity. Kanuka scent is said to have a slightly eroticizing effect with pheromone characteristics. Use as washes, compresses, baths, dry inhalation, rubbing in, application, massages, room spray, etc.
