Essential Oil and Hydrosol Distillation Course
Course content:
What do we have planned for you at the distillation course?
You will have the opportunity to examine a unique, self-designed 500-liter stainless steel still and to witness steam distillation!
We will explain the different manufacturing processes, how you can easily make hydrosol yourself, general information about essential oils and hydrosols such as quality, storage, shelf life, important ingredients, applications, harvest time, etc. Then you can get started yourselves! We offer you a selection of different models of copper stills such as Alquitara, Leonardo and column stills with sizes from 2 to 20 liters. We will explain the advantages and disadvantages of each model, and then you can try them out in groups of 2 or 3 and see for yourselves.
You can then take your self-made essential oil and hydrosol home with you. Of course, you can bring herbs, seeds, or roots from your own garden! Otherwise, we will gladly provide you with herbs.
At noon, we will go to the inn for lunch together; more detailed information will be sent to you by email about a week before the course.
We look forward to an interesting day with you!
