With our 500l stainless steel still, we are already producing a lot of essential oils and hydrosols ourselves - and there are more and more!
The raw material of our "types of wood" (Douglas fir, giant fir, silver fir, spruce, ...) is used by us
Provided by regional farmers and foresters from the Sauwald. It is collected and processed by us through wild collection. We obtain our herbs from organic herb farmers who are as regional as possible, with whom we have a very good working relationship!

The branches must be chopped up before the distillation in order to break the wax layer on the needles and to access the valuable essential oil.
When it comes to herbs, seeds and roots, there are often special preparatory work to be done (grind, chop, ...). Herbs can be processed fresh or dried - depending on the variety.

With every distillation (especially with new varieties) we make precise notes about the weather of the last few months, harvest time, change in cultivation, variety, weight, dried or fresh, yield of essential oil, etc.
The subsequent analysis gives us information about the ingredients of our products. From this we can determine and optimize the optimal harvest time and special features in production in order to produce a high-quality product!
