Effect on the soul: with emotional injuries. It opens the heart to love and compassion, and helps to feel real affection and to forgive. Rose oil is also an important companion for coping with grief, crisis situations, emotional lows and depression.
Rosa damascena is grown and distilled mainly in Bulgaria, France, Morocco and Turkey. The Bulgarian rose oil is a particularly noble rarity. It is the finest and also the most expensive rose oil. It is obtained by steam distilling the flowers that have just opened. Compared to the somewhat cheaper Turkish rose, the fragrance of the Bulgarian rose is even fuller and more diverse. Rose oils are among the most expensive treasures of all, as this plant only gives off very little of its volatile, healing essence. To get 1 kg of rose oil, you need 5000 kg of fresh, fragrant petals. Due to the low yield of 0.02%, the high price is justified. Rose oil has an antiseptic, antirheumatic and wound healing effect on the body. What is remarkable about this oil is that it has minimal toxicity despite its strong germicidal effect. It is therefore also ideal for skin care and is the ideal oil for pregnancy, childbirth and baby.
